From the dimly light street, the outside of Dans Lup looked like a typical old building within the Lipscani District. Red and brown bricked, with grey morter, and a single light dimly light over a single man who was guarding a grey metal door. Just under the light, there was a sign that was jutting out, over the man's head, that read 'Dans Lup' in neat, flowing Edwardian Script.
'The Dancing Wolf' was the youth of Bucharest's place to go when the world was putting them down. Pounding music could be heard from outside the building, and from the street it seemed to be nothing more than rolling thunder on the streets. Passerbys seemed to pick up their pass to get by, without seeming to be interseted in the pounding building.
Within the building, a dance floor was already filled to the brim with bodies and flashing limbs. From the corner, nestled off to the side, was a bar with two bartenders ready to serve any drink to those who had the right ID. Sitting off to the side, glass in hand, was a young man seemingly dressed in head to toe in black. Black leather pants hugged his thighs, while black boots thumped against the metal grate that was the chair footrest. A black fishnet meshed shirt clung to his broad chest, showing off the black tribal tattoo that circled around his left nipple and down his ribs, while a floor lenght trench coat rested over his back. She was finally eighteen. Eighteen, and free.
The Cortésa pack had been in hiding for so long, it felt almost surreal that Calista was walking out in the streets freely then. Honestly, even though her mother assured her their allies, the Validus, would keep her safe, she still had that little hesitation nestled inside her that made her cautious no matter where she was. That same hesitation that had brought on many, many sleepless nights the past few years, as the Cortésa became nothing but memory.
She was still settling into Romania, for she hadn't been there long at all. She had pretty much been snuck into its borders, so it was completely possible she had more to fear than she seemed to realize. Naive she was, even after all the growing up she had to do starting when the Cortésa was found out, exposed for what they are, or were: werewolves. For now, though, she wasn't a member of Cortésa; she was just a young girl, trying to find her place in the world - or more directly, in the Validus.
While she was better off trying to figure out who in the Validus she was supposedly-supposed to meet with, she thought she deserved a bit of celebration for actually making it into Romania. With her hair straightened for the most part and her make up done quite nicely, she dressed herself in the nicest outfit she owned, which she happened to buy just recently in a store not far away from the inn where she was staying. It was a deep purple silk corset, with black lace accenting and black ribbon tied through silver hoops in the corseting. It was sleeveless, and completely strapless as well, and ended just below her belly button, so with her black low-rise skinny jeans she had a bit showing. (Hey, she had it, why not flaunt it?) For the most part she covered it up with a black jacket she wore, zipping it up just above mid-torso, which she would unzip if she felt the need to flaunt.
Dans Lup. She wasn't sure exactly what that meant, if it meant anything, but she knew for a fact she wanted to get in. She somehow managed to, and was quite surprised at how packed the place was; she had only seen those types of places on television, she had never been anywhere like that, so naturally she was clueless. She decided to start out at the least crowded area, the bar. She moved quickly along, moving past people to get to it. She bit her lip, knowing she wasn't going to get more than water... Which was fine with her, really. She smiled to the bartender as he moved her way, and with her heavy accent asked, "May I have some water?"

Cyrus lifted his eyebrow as the young woman approached the bar and asked for a glass of water. He turned his glaring gaze on the bartender, who was already reaching for the hose that he used on anyone who ordered water at Dans Lup. "I wouldnae do dat, if I was ye, mate," he growled, eyes flashing as he glared at the bartender who slowly started to fix the female a glass of water.
Slowly, he turned to the girl and looked her over, before glancing at her eyes. "Yer out of place, sweetheart," he said, his accent thick and flowing as he took a sip of the liquid within his glass."What 'rre ye doin' in dere, widout some male behind ye?"

She smiled as the bartender went off, folding her arms on the countertop. Her eyes moved about, scouting the place for some potential conversation.
Her head turned and brows furrowed when the male spoke up to the bartender, unsure of what was going on. The guy was just going to get her a water.. She glanced to the bartender. Maybe not... she thought to herself. She had a lot to learn still.
Her attention turned to the male then, who decided to speak to her. He had an accent, thick just like hers was. It was nice, but foreign to her, having gotten used to the accent the spaniards held when speaking english. She'd get used to it. "Well," she started with a small flick of her hair over her shoulder. "I don't have a male to have behind me, sir. I'm here all by my lonesome." Her accent was elegant, with much hiding behind it. She wouldn't mention that she was, in fact, probably one-hundred-percent alone nowadays. Until she found where the heck these Validus hid, that is.
Amongst the musk of the dance floor and the humid air, came something new. Her sensitive sense of smell picked it up right away, and she pursed her lips lightly. She glanced into the corner of her eye a moment, out to the dance floor. It was definitely something.. But what, she had no idea. She wouldn't make herself look like a complete idiot by sticking her nose into the air to follow the trail, but she'd possibly try to track it as the night wore on.

Watching as the young female turned her head, as if searching for something, Cyrus did make himself look like an idoit, as he lifted his chin, nose slightly thrust forward and brow furrowed, as his nostrils flared and he took in the scent of the club. It wasn't anything out of the ordinary, minus the fact that there was a hint of fresh pineneedles and green grass. He gave a gruntal growl and started to shake his head out like a wolf, but stopped as he remembered he was still in a public place.
"'Rre ye meetin' someone?" he asked, playing off his random sniffing of the bar as him looking around to see if anyone was coming for her. She just looked way to young to be at Dans Lup alone.
The bartender placed a glass of water on the counter, and Cyrus glared at the glass, nostrils flaring again, as if he was testing the scent of the drink for anything. Luckily for the bartender, he had been smart and not drugged or put anything in the girl's water and he nodded his head, pulling out his walet and paying for her and his drinks. Then, he turned his attention back on her, as the bartender moved off to put the money in the register and waited for the female to answer his question.

She shook her head. "No, no one.. I guess you could saying I'm looking for someone, but..
" She ran her fingers back through her hair, grabbing the glass to take a drink. After a short sip she continued, setting the glass down. " I don't know who they are." She chuckled, folding her arms against the edge of the counter. " That probably sounds sad, but. Well, it is." She took a slow breath in subconciously, the smell finding its way to her again. She began to think it was probably best for her to find whatever it was that the scent was secreting from, but she didn't want to be rude. She was brought up a lady, and ladies weren't rude. Unless, of course, there was a reason, and since she didn't have one, she couldn't be. " What's your name, stranger?" She wrapped slender digits around the glass for a moment, trailing up until the tip of her index would begin to circle it. Chocolate eyes remained planted on him, in an effort not to get distracted. Cyrus listened to her, wondering who on earth would want to meet someone in Dans Lup for the first time, but then he remembered what had brought him out of hiding and out of the mountains. . . . . He was suppose to be here meeting someone. "Cyrus O'Conner," he stated, trying his damnedest to remember the name, if any, had been given to him about the person he was suppose to meet. Hell, he couldn't even remember if it was a male or female he was suppose to meet.
"What be yer name, lassie?" he asked, glancing around the room real quick, before placing his eyes back on her, trying not to be rude like she was trying so hard to be. It was starting to show that both had something a bit more important to do other than sit on a barstool and chat about each other.

Cyrus O'Conner... Something went off in her head, making the name sound familiar somehow. She had no idea why it did, because she'd never met someone named Cyrus before. It could have probably been someone with a similar dubbing her father did business with earlier in the girl's life, but she was unsure. She'd ponder this, but not dwell on it while she was in conversation with the man.
She took another short sip of the water, enjoying the refreshment before she turned to give her name. "Pleased to meet you, mister O'Conner. My name's Calista." She smiled. The way she said her name had such a nice, exotic sound thanks to her accent. "Calista Azevedo." She was pretty sure no news of anything going on in her homeland in Spain made its way to Romania, or that anyone even knew the name Azevedo, so she figured herself to be safe by throwing her last name out there to the man. If she was wrong.. She only hoped she could get out of any situation thrown her way.

After having given his name, Cyrus had lifted his glass to his lips, the brim resting on his bottom lip, and just about to take a sip as she had spoken her first name. When she repeated her first name, then her last, Cyrus nearly choaked on the liquid as it slipped down the wrong way as he quickly set the glass down and turned his head from her, swallowing the liquid as quickly and as painlessly as he could, before turning back to the young female, right arm over his lips, brushing droplets of the drink from his face.
"Calista Azevedo? . . . . . As in de Spanish Azevedo's?" he asked, a slight whimper to his voice as he asked the last sentence. Those who remained of the Validus had felt the lost when the news that many, and almost all, of the Cortésa werewolves had been hunted down and killed. Yet, it had been the news that the noble, and Alpha of the pack, Azevedo's had been able to survive . . . For awhile.
"Ye 'rre her," he stated, almost dropping out of his seat to bow before a werewolf of much greater breeding than himself, but he remembered where he was and decided that bowing before the possibly last remainly Cortésa pack would have to wait. "M'lady," he whispered, dropping his head and exposing his neck to Calista, while slightly standing, but still half sitting on the bar stool.

She blinked, her brows furrowing in extreme confusion at his reaction to her name. In came as pure surprise to her, and it took her a second to register what could have caused it. He must be.. She thought a moment, and then the reason as to why his name was so familiar popped into her head.
"The man you must search for has the forename of Cyrus. He is the only one whose name I have. You must find him!" her mother had told her shortly before she left for Romania. A short burst of sadness overcame her, for she had no idea if her mother was still alive, nor did she her brother, though he probably had more of a chance than her mother. Her mother had never been a fighter.
The sadness left and a smile overcame her lips, carrying on to her eyes. "Yes.. As in the Spanish Azevedos. Now I know why I recognised your name!" She could have squealed, but she kept her voice relatively low, though now she was sure even a whisper he could hear most likely. She crossed her arms under her bust, a mixture of surprise, excitement, and a list of questions overcoming her then.

Cyrus sighed and raised his head. He had never been one to bow to another werewolf, but this one was from a far purer line than his, and it demanded at least a little respect, no matter the fact that she could possibly be alone now. "De Validus pack has been allies wid de Cortésa pack far as long as I can be rememberin'. Seein' as I be de Beta Male, I could understand why me name be recognisable, m'lady," he stated, slowly standing.
He waved his left hand back a little, indicating he would be moving to a darker corner where they could talk in private. "M'lady?" he questioned, as if she really had choice. She did, but it didn't have many options, mainly just walking out of Dans Lup and out into the world alone, or following her to learn what had been decided about her immdentant future.

"Ah, well.. I was never really good with names, honestly. My mother actually.. Told me about you before I left, or else I probably wouldn't have recognized it.." She chuckled hesitantly, sipping again at her water, which seemed to calm her with its chill somehow. It made her sound a little snooty that she had no regards for her pack's old allies, but she just figured she'd never meet them, at least not as soon as she was to.
She glanced to his hand and nodded, taking another drink of her water before she slid from the stool. She smoothed out the bottom of her corset and fixed her pants as well, taking a look around the place. He must have been what her snout picked up. It was something similar to pine needles and something she wasn't sure of, but she was sure she'd be getting used to it.

Understanding her indifference to her birth pack's ways, Cyrus turned as she stood and started moving silently into the darkened corner booths. It probably wasn't the best place to take a young werewolf female, but the only other place he knew of that they could talk was up in the VIP room and he wasn't about to take her up there. She would have learned more about the dealings of drug lorders and whores up there, then down here.
Finding no boothes opened, Cyrus growled and turned his head to the left, finding the scent of pine needles floating around the pulled curtain that blocked the occupants veiw of the club, while hiding them from the public eye. With a quick flick of his wrist, the curtain was pulled, showing two teenagers deep in a make out session.
The male had the balls to stand and try to defend his toy, but one look at Cyrus caused the boy to cower and drop his head, exposing his neck as Cyrus had done to Calista. "O luaþi în altã parte, flãcãu," he growled, his body almost blocking Calista's veiw, but he had to move over a bit or the two teenagers couldn't have moved out of the booth.
"M'lady," he stated, turning and urshering Calista into the booth. "Forgive the smell," he said, taking a seat, but not before drawing the curtain. "Some of the pups thinks they can just mate whenever the urge hits them. Sit," he ordered, instantly regretting it, but dropping it. Here, Calista was a loner and he was the Beta Male, the highest ranking male with no Alpha Male above him.

She followed, her hands slipping into the pockets of her jacket. Chocolate orbs looked about the dancefloor and elsewhere as they moved, but she kept track of where he was moving as well. She didn't feel like losing him, even if she could probably find him -- or vice versa -- quite easily. She picked up varying scents as she did, and while some she liked, the majority of which resembled sweat and body odor, not something she enjoyed too often.
She watched him as he said something to someone in the booth, her head cocking curiously to one side. She'd ask him what he said, but as she opened her mouth he spoke to her, ordering her to sit. She nodded and slid into the booth. "I guess it's the same no matter where you go." She recalled her younger years, when the Cortésa was still as strong as it had ever been. A few of the elder pups she found doing naughty things, and she even walked in on her brother in such a situation. Not the best of memories, but better than anything recent.

Cyrus nodded to her statement. "Pups will be pups, but we try tae keep an eye on de males just cause dey tend tae get intae more trouble dan some of oar females," he stated, cocking his head to the side as he watched her. She seemed so . . . distant that it made him uneasy simply because the Validus pack was so close to it's members that everyone talked freely . . . . And did things more freely than possibly this royal female was use too. He would have to watch her.
Suddenly, there was a shadow that passed over the curtain and Cyrus pulled the end that was nearest him a bit, just enough to where he could look out, but from where Calista was sitting, he didn't think she would be able to see. Some quick words were spoken, mostly in Romaian and a tray was passed over, holding two glasses; one holding a clear liquid and the other a bright amber liquid. Cyrus drew the curtain once more and placed the tray down. "De bartender sent us some drinks tae refresh hourselves while we talk," he said, passing the clear liquid to her and taking the amber one for himself. "It be water,"[/b[ he added, before takinga sip of his drink.
