So.. Now what?

Thorn followed Eric silently, memorizing places he showed her. They kept walking until they. came to an apartment complex. Thorn looked up curiously. He lived here? Funny, I never actually noticed it before. Guess I should pay more attention... They went inside and up to an apartment, presumably owned by his mother. Then, Thorn wondered what Eclipse was like. She looked down at Eric. I sure hope this kid has a good sense of judgement... "So I'm guessing we're going inside now, right?"

Eric glanced around, wondering where the crazy old landlady was, but finally noticed that her car was missing so guessed she was already out for the day. Strolling up the stairs and down the bit of concret and steel walkway toward the last couple of apartment doors. He stopped and turned his head, toward Thorn and nodded. "I'm going in first . . . I've stayed out later than I should have and my mother will probably yell at me. . . . . You can stand right outside and talk to the very large man sitting on the black Harley," he stated, turning from her and slipping and closing the door to his aparment.

Having just pulled up as Eric and the pink haired girl slipped from the forest, Eclipse only shook his head and chuckled as the young pup stalked across the parking lot, never really seeming to notice him until he was already to his apartment door. Listening to his little bit of a conversation with the girl, he came to the conclusion that Eric had slipped out again and Katie didn't know.
"It's rare he brings anything out of the forest," Eclipse commented, eyes flashing golden, unsure and not really giving a damn as to wither the female was a werewolf or not.

[Thorn]

Thorn glanced over at the man on the Harley uneasily. She had no idea what kind of person the Alpha male was. I'm just going to be your typical polite werewolf. She walked over to Eclipse, her hands in her pockets and a piece of hair in her mouth that she chewed absentmindedly. She stood silently beside the black motorcycle trying to remember what words were and how to use them. Finally, she croaked, "He-" She coughed and cleared her throat. "Um... hi. Eclipse, right? Eric told me about you and the...uh...." she swallowed nervously. I should have stayed in bed...

[Ulv]

Eclipse raised a brow as the young female moved toward him, absentmindedly chewing on a piece of her hot pink hair. It was a strange color to have, but he figured it had something to do with being young. Something he couldn't understand simply cause he was to much of a wolf and not all that much of a human. "It's rare that he talks," he stated, sizing the girl up, wondering what she had that appealed to Eric.

Though, there was something . . . . . cute about the girl, mainly, to him, that she seemed shy and innocent, whereas he was more use to outspoken and adventures werewolf females who had abosultly no problem speaking to him. Her stutter and pauses softened him a little. He nodded, placing a hand on his jean clad thigh and leaned put a little weight on the limb. "I am Eclipse . . . . and you are?" he questioned, ears slightly tuned in on the arguement going on upstairs. He would wait until Katie and Eric were done fighting to go in.

[Thorn]

Thorn inhaled deeply. Steady... "I'm Thorn. And ,well, I guess he spoke to me because I found out his secret." She smiled. "But he doesn't seem to mind. Or care." Thorn pulled her hair out of her mouth and concentrated. "Eric said you're the leader of the pack, so..." She shook her head. "No, first of all, I'm a werewolf. And second, I wanted to be in Infiniteria. If that's okay. I mean, I don't really know how to do much when I'm a wolf. Just stuff like howling and digging. But I'm a fast learner," she added quickly. She looked up and exhaled. I should just quit while I'm still ahead... "So can I? Join? Your pack?"

Eclipse couldn't help but let out a chuckle as Thorn seemed to start ranting about little things that could have easily been fixed with a couple of lessons about how to be a werewolf. One being that you just don't go around telling strangers that you are a werewolf. Yet, seeing as how Eric had informed her of the pack and himself, Eclipse let that one slid. Yet, with him already trying to teach Eric how to control himself and trying to get the boy to join the pack, did he really have time to counsel and train another pup?
Sighing, he slid a hand over his face and glanced up at the door. It was funny how he had never heard the door open, but found both Katie and a teary Eric standing on the balcony.

"Who's this, Eclipse?" Katie asked, still dressed in the clothes she had slept in. "And why haven't you invited her in?"

Eclipse slightly shivered at the way Katie's voice seemed to command him, but tried to hide it as well as possible. His attention turned to Eric, who had eyes for Thorn only and he grinned. Golden orbs shifted to Thorn, and he let the grin die. "You may join, Thorn. The rest of the pack are scattered at the moment, but you will meet them soon. Until then, I will be your teacher," he stated, nodding his head as he spoke.

Thorn's eyes opened wide in delight. "Thanks," she said with a grin. She looked at Eric, and her smile faded. She was unsure of whether or not she should say something, but he did have tears on his face. His mom probably reprimanded him... she thought silently. She looked at the woman standing beside him. And that must be her... Thorn wasn't sure what to say to her. It's probably no big deal. She smiled sympathetically at Eric. "Uh, you don't have to.... I mean, I don't want to disturb you or anything," Thorn said to Eric's mother, since she appeared to have just woken up.

Katie noticed the young girl's concerned looks toward her son and simply grinned. "Well it's good to see that someone else cares, a little bit, about my baby. He's always running off into the forest at night, and with me being a human, there isn't a single thing I can do to stop him," she stated, waving her hand to everyone down below. "Now you, two, come inside before the landlady gets back and starts yelling at us for having a party in the yard," she stated, pushing off the railing and moving back into the apartment, with Eric right behind her.

"Don't worry about Eric," Eclipse stated, throwing his leg over the bike and standing, "He's tough and what most werewolves would call a mutt,

[/u] so he has to deal with tougher things than you would think a five year old would have to deal with. He's fine,"[/b] he stated, wondering if that was the most he had ever talked to another werewolf, without shifting or howling in their face.
He walked up the stairs, stopping halfway to turn and see wither or not Thorn would join them. "This is your new home . . . . At least until I get tired of coming here and get my own place," he stated, most of the wolves understanding that playing human wasn't Eclipse's strongest suit, so it was best that he was staying with Katie and not on his own. "You coming?"[/center][/size]

[Thorn]

Thorn nodded. "Yeah, sure..." She followed them quietly, thinking about what Eclipse had said. If Eric's mother was a human, then his father was the werewolf. She wondered if she was a total werewolf. She knew her mother was, but what of her father? She shrugged it off. What difference would it make if she knew? She couldn't find them. And they didn't want her anyway, so why bother.
Suddenly she realized what Eclipse had said. "Wait... you mean I can stay here? But... but..." She paused and scratched her head. "Okay then..."

[Ulv]

Eclipse paused at the top of the stairs, feeling like he had to explain, rather than just let it go. Pups just did tht to him. "I was born a wolf, so being human isn't my strong suit. Katie's mate was a really good friend of mine . . . So, after he disappeared, I started looking after Katie and Eric, and she allowed me to sleep here when I couldn't find a nice warm den out in the forest," he explained, knowing it had to look horrible since the Alpha of the Infiniteria pack didn't have a home or anyplace he could call his own.
"Just be careful when asking questions about Damian and help out around the house when Katie isn't home and things will be jsut fine," he stated, hoping Katie would accept yet another wolf into her home.

[Thorn]

Thorn nodded as she absorbed the information. So... Damien, huh? She decided not to ask. She learned a lot more when she waited longer. She wondered if her brother would miss her. Probably, but then he was the only one who would. And school wasn't too important. She could read, she could learn. Besides, she liked being in her fur a lot more than she liked being human. There was a lot less to care about then. She wondered exactly how much power Eclipse had, and what being in a pack would be like. "If you'll be teaching me, then I'll be learning with Eric?" she asked curiously. As a human, that'd mean she was very ignorant, or Eric was very smart.

[Ulv]

Eclipse glance back at Thorn and kind of shrugged. "As with your wolf training, yes . . . . But as far as going to school and getting a human education . . . . You'll have to talk to Katie about that. I'm not that good with handling human things," he admitted, grunting and moving into the house, having to slightly duck his head to get into the apartment.
There, in the kitchen was Katie, fixing breakfast, while Eric was no where to be found. He sighed and started to head back to Eric's room. "I'll talk to him," he started, only to stop as a knife suddenly flew through the air and stuck itself in the hallway wall.

"Leave him alone, Eclipse," Katie stated, going back to cooking breakfast in her pjs. "He's grounded for two weeks."

"TWO WEEKS!!! The full moon is within two days!" Eclipse growled, sitting down at the small kitchen table, glancing toward the door wondering if Thorn was going to come in or not.

[Thorn]

Thorn walked in and looked around curiously. Her eyes opened wide as she saw a knife in the wall. Oh...my...god... What goes on around here? She inhaled deeply and pulled it out. Thorn walked over to Eric's mother and put it down, her fingers holding the blade firmly. She didn't really know what to say about a knife that had been thrown thrown. And landed in the wall. She tried to hide her curiousity as she looked at it for any blood. A small part of her felt a strange dissapointment that there wasn't any.
She tapped her foot a little and looked at Eclipse sitting at the table. "Am I allowed to change here?" she asked, referring to her wolf side. "Or no?" she added as she looked at Katie.

Katie glanced at the pink-haired girl and grinned, taking the knife off the counter and putting it in the dishwasher next to the stove and between the sink and stove. "You can change here . . . . Just be sure that it's not in front of company or in front of windows," Katie explained, returning to the stove and placing a few pieces of bacon on a plate and setting it in front of Eclipse, at the table.
"I'm Katie Holmes, by the way," she stated, turning the to girl, "You can have the couch and Eclipse can sleep on the pallet next to the t.v.," she stated, glaring at Eclipse, almost daring the Alpha werewolf who was shoving a piece of bacon into his mouth. She shook her head, as she fixed another plate and handed it to the girl.

[Thorn]

Thorn nodded and took the plate witha smile. "Thank you," she chirped as she sat at the table. In all reality, she would have loved to eat like Eclipse. But she had manners. Thorn bit her lip. "Uh," she said to Katie, trying to avert her slightly amused and yet disgusted gaze from the Alpha, "I can babysit for you..." she said as she finally tore her eyes away to look at Katie. "I mean, I don't want to stay here and not do anything. I wouldn't mind," she added with a smile. "And," she said as she looked at Eclipse, lowering her voice to barely above a whisper in hopes that Katie wouldn't hear her. "I don't want to go to school anymore. I mean, what's the point?"
