She crouched, waiting, watching, with the cold cement of the tomb under her paws. A small pile of clothes lay beside her, where she had shed them to change. After making sure no one was there, and no one had seen her, she leaped from where she was to lower ground, paws hitting the earth with a soft thud. Her gold werewolf eyes gazed around, different from the eyes of a normal wolf, but only to those who knew, most people that saw her in this form just thought she was a wolf with gold eyes; most weren’t smart enough to make the connection. She raised her nose to the air and sniffed, testing the scents on the breeze. Before lowering her nose, she let out a low howl, only loud enough for those in the woods near her to hear. The howl was a happy one, for the white bitch was glad to be free of the town, glad to be able to run with the moon on her back, like she was supposed to, like her ancestors had done.
With that she was off running, legs pounding the damp earth in a rhythm as she picked up speed, her ears pricked for noises, nose testing the air with every breath she breathed in. She itched to run as far as she could, but she wouldn’t, tonight she would stay in one area, until she was familiar with Bucharest, until she had met others to help her find safe places to run. After a moment, she slowed, turning around and then taking off again, back the way she had come, back towards her clothes, and the tombs of the dead and forgotten. Her front legs raised and tucked as she pushed off of her hind end to clear a log, landing with grace and stealth. Slowing down, she made another leap, back up onto the tomb that she had started at, and she lay down, relishing the feel of the cool cement against her furred body. She would stay a wolf a while longer, maybe for the night, sleeping on the tomb, out in the woods where she belonged.

Misty was stalking through the forest, exploring it. Her white paws padded gently on the ground, her black fur helping her blend in among the trees like a shadow. The park was the perfect place for her to be at the moment. Things at home were... unstable. She sniffed to make sure she was alone. She didn't smell anything. Then suddenly a white blur shot past her. Misty yelped, growled and started chasing. She didn't like being startled. She followed the other wolf to the tomb of the unknown soldier and stepped forward, staring at her with shocking purple eyes.

Lexi spun around to face the woods as she heard another wolf following her back. In her wolf form, her senses were highly tuned, and she knew right away that the wolf before her was of her kind, and not a normal canine. Her gold eyes bored into the purple ones of the other bitch, twinkling with a dangerous light. Fearless, Lexi growled softly, standing her ground on the tomb, waiting to see what the purple eyed beauty would do. Her tail was rigid, as was the hair along her back, and she started down the female that had chased after her. The breeze blew, ruffling her fir and bringing the scent of spring with it. Finally, it was spring, Lexi’s favorite season. She didn’t let her attention drift from the other wolf though.

Misty didn't growl back. She wasn't one for needless theatrics. Instead she calmly walked around the tomb, sniffing it carefully. She noticed the clothes beside the other wolf and her eyes narrowed. Of course. It was another werewolf. What would a normal wolf do with clothes? Misty moved back to her original spot and stared back at the other female. Hopefully her message was clear. I'm not afraid of you, and I'm not wasting my energy fighting you. In other words, she wanted the other female to relax.

Lexi watched the other wolf warily, as she circled the tomb, then returned to where she was. Her gold eyes softened as she realized that the other female wouldn’t attack her. She wanted to talk to the gray and white wolf-girl, but she couldn’t do that in wolf form, so she closed her eyes and thought for a moment before becoming human once more. She grabbed her clothes and started to dress, watching the other wolf to see if she would change as well, so that they could speak to each other. When she was dressed, she smiled softly and sat down, facing the other. This is what she had wanted, to meet others like her, to be with a pack.

Misty snorted. She couldn't change here because her clothes were beside a tree in the woods. She glanced into the woods and looked back. Wait here, I'll be back. She turned tail and ran into the woods. She sniffed the air until she found her clothes, then she changed as she went back to them. Thorn put on her black jeans and her blue hoodie. She pulled her hair back in a ponytail and went back to the trees near the tomb. She watched the other girl curiously and silently, as though she were still a wolf. Walking forward slowly and silently, (a trick she learned from practice at sneaking back inside her house), Thorn tilted her head to one side curiously and said, "Hello..."
