Welcome to Wolverine and the X-men
It had been a quiet day at the mansion like most of the days had been. Some of the X-men running a danger room session while others where outside and few inside studying. Just as no one would have expected it, Xavier suffered from a serious headache as well as Jean. In an attempt to find out the X-men around, Wolverine, Cyclops, Storm and Iceman, make their way over. Only to be blasted back by a huge explosion, resulting in Charles and Jean missing.
Shortly after this event the X-men scattered, each went their own way. It had been like that for a year. But due to current event one of them is forced to make his way back. Wolverine. He finds Beast has never left the mansion. He had been busy analysing the explosion, confirming it had been set on Charles’ position. It is here Logan decides to take action. Not just this but also the fact a mutant hate group called the MRD had picked up a family who had provided him shelter.
Beast and Logan see no other option but to help this family and make their way into the base. After freeing the mutants, they know it wouldn’t have mattered much, the next day the cells would be just as full as when they found the base. So Logan and Beast go to recruit some of the X-men and find Iceman, who is easiest to find. They also manage to get their hands on Shadowcat who was on her way to Genosha. In the meantime the Brotherhood made their move to get their hands on Rogue which worked. They faked a hit on senator Kelly to make it seem the X-men attacked him. By setting the X-men up Rogue proved her loyalty to the Brotherhood.
Logan however doesn’t give up and with the help of Angel and Morph he is able to rebuild the mansion, yet he gets a surprising visitor... Emma Frost who wants to help the X-men find Xavier. Not really trusting her Logan does give her a chance and on Emma’s say so they go to Genosha to find Xavier under Magneto’s care in a deep coma. They take him back home and for the first time they are confronted with Xavier from the future, revealing a devastated world in the time he woke up from his coma. Sentinels had took over. To prevent this he asks all of his X-men to work together, including Cyclops.
But above all he requests Logan to lead them. And make sure the world he knows will never come to pass.
